Morning Bell

Welcome. This site is called Morning Bell so that you would know it's a Radiohead fan site, and not an S Club 7 website. Morning Bell features some original icons, sounds, fonts, and screensavers and also culls and points to the good stuff from other places. Enjoy.

Radiohead Wallpaper

(all are 800 x 600 and in .bmp)

Amnesiac minotaur wallpaper. Deck out your computer in red, or go with the more sensible white or black.

Radiohead Icons

icons.zip (104 KB)

I made these. Here's a screenshot. Here we have Pablo Honey icons, The Bends icons, OK Computer icons, Kid A icons, Amnesiac icons, and even icons of Thom, Jon, Ed, Colin and Phil from one of the Rolling Stone cover shots. I personally would be way too scared to ever use an icon of Colin's head, but maybe someone else would like one.

Radiohead Sounds

sounds.zip (5.4 MB)

Here's another one I made, for all of your Shutting Down Computer and Minimizing Window needs. All of the sounds are good quality (44100 rate, 16 bit stereo), because I couldn't stand listening to crappy sound files.

The files are pretty big, so I thought it would be easier for people with slower connections if I made the Start Up sound a separate download... that, and I have three different Start Up sounds for you to choose from...

Start Up #1 (2.9 MB) is the beginning of Paranoid Android, Start Up #2 (3.6 MB) is the overdriven guitar riff of Airbag, and Start Up #3 (3.5 MB) is the beginning to Let Down.

Radiohead Fonts

EuroseWide Heavy

You can have old-school Radiohead font fun with EuroseWide Heavy, which is the font that was used for The Bends and OK Computer. Actually, I can't back that up, but it's close.

Plakatbau

The second font, Plakatbau, was used for Kid A and Amnesiac. The creators are Buro Destruct and you can download it from them for free.

Radiohead Screensavers

The Bends Screensaver - Fun, but takes a while to quit when you move your mouse. (Doesn't seem to install with Windows XP, but you can view it.)

OK Computer Screensaver - Little promotional thing. (Doesn't seem to install with Windows XP, but you can view it.)

Kid A Screensaver - I love this one! It has a small moving strip of pictures, and the beginning of the song Kid A loops in the background.

Amnesiac Screensaver - Squares of variously colored minotaurs blink and move around the screen. (This one and the Kid A one will overwrite each other when you install them, so you kind of have to choose one or the other.)

Pyramid Song Screensaver - This one's my favorite. It is silent and shows beautiful shots from the Pyramid Song video.

I want Thom's "My Iron Duck" to return. My life isn't the same without it. Oh well. Notice how I updated my links? There's only three sites that are still around now. Excellent.
